At The University of Arizona Cancer Center, we understand that it's easy to get confused or overwhelmed when faced with a diagnosis of cancer. We work hard to make sure our patients and their caregivers receive all the information they want and need about their diagnosis and treatment. We have many educational programs and services to help you feel confident about decisions you make regarding your care.
If your treatment will involve chemotherapy, you will be asked to attend a class on chemotherapy treatment. Your friends and family are welcome to accompany you. You will only have to attend the hour-long class once. The class takes place Monday–Thursday by appointment only in the Supportive Care for Healing Living Room at the University of Arizona Cancer Center — North Campus. Call (520) 694-CURE for more information.
