The Pancreatic Cancer Alliance (PCA) unites the University of Arizona Cancer Center’s many investigators and clinicians in the fight against pancreatic cancer. We merge innovative research, exceptional patient care, with population-wide education and outreach efforts with the long-term goal of improving patient outcomes.
The goals of the University of Arizona Pancreatic Cancer Alliance are to:
- Provide innovative patient treatment and exceptional clinical care
- Enhance research efforts in pancreatic cancer
- Develop strong community outreach
These goals are critical in considering that pancreatic cancer is projected to represent the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths, and there are substantial opportunities to make a difference.
The Pancreatic Cancer Alliance is based in the University of Arizona Cancer Center which serves the entirety of the state of Arizona and works collaboratively with multiple academic and private institutions throughout the state.
Key partners in the fight against pancreatic cancer include University of Arizona faculty at the Tucson and Phoenix campuses as well as clinical partners Banner Health and Dignity Health.
