The BMISR provides access to state-of-the art questionnaires, many of which were developed within the resource and validated for specific Cancer Prevention and Control Program research projects. The Data Repository provides a selection of validated instruments for behavioral research and ready-access to peer-reviewed publications supporting instrument selections. The BMISR provides expertise in related methodologies – instrument administration and data collection, management and interpretation – to support researchers in designing optimal standard operating procedures for instrument use. While some instruments can be directly accessed through the shared resource, others are proprietary. For those instruments, the BMISR provides investigators with a description, peer-reviewed publications and linkages to investigators/developers for additional information.
