As a patient of the University of Arizona Cancer Center, you will be treated in one or more of our multispecialty clinics. Each clinic has a team of physicians and health care professionals, such as medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, nutritionists, social workers, genetic counselors and more, who are experts in their specialties. This multidisciplinary approach means our patients get the best treatment possible: treatment tailored to them.

Head and Neck Disease Team focuses on cancers that arise from the mucosal surfaces of the mouth, nose, and throat (also known as head and neck squamous cell carcinoma), as well as tumors arising from the salivary glands, thyroid, and paranasal sinuses.

Pediatric Cancer Clinical Research Team

The University of Arizona Department of Pediatrics is the University of Arizona Cancer Center's clinical partner in treating children with cancer and blood disorders. 

Phase 1 Clinical Research Team

The phase I program at the University of Arizona Cancer Center conducts cutting-edge early clinical trials across a broad spectrum of solid and hematologic cancers for patients whose cancer progressed on standard chemotherapy.

Prevention Clinical Research Team

The prevention team conducts clinical research studies to prevent cancer for various organ sites such as skin, breast, cervix, lung, upper aerodigestive track, ovarian, rectal, esophagus, stomach, colon, liver, and prostate. 

Radiation Oncology Clinical Research Team

The Department of Radiation Oncology actively collaborates in the multidisciplinary care of patients with cancer with the use of external beam radiation and brachytherapy to treat tumors.

Sarcoma Clinical Research Team

It is the primary mission of the University of Arizona Cancer Center's Sarcoma Multidisciplinary Clinic to bring together a winning team for the care of sarcoma patients in Arizona.
